Breathe in…
That’s about all the poetry I have in me for this post. The week before this I overslept, so I was determined to get up for this week’s sunrise. The roads were wet the whole way to the Eastern shore, and I wound up taking a detour at the very end of the drive due to a “road closure for filming” signs. The beach was dry! I armed the camera with a rain cover just in case, and it protected my camera from the surprising surges that rolled in. With the low tide, I decided the green, mossy rocks would be a viable place to shoot. It turned out, that when the interesting swells rolled in, the green got mostly covered in white! I hadn’t thought of that! The morning got too bright to be filterless, fast, but when I put the dark filter on… it didn’t ever get bright enough like it usually does, so my “test” exposures while waiting for the light is all you get this week (hence the f/2.8 and f/4 apertures and blurry horizons…)
Breath Out…
Okay, that was the last bit of poetry, I swear! I couldn’t decide which I liked better so I decided to share one of each. I was sad that the filming blocked choice #1 this AM, especially with the sun rising in the best spot for there, but it turns out, the sun didn’t come out anyway. Next stop, Mokes! And then Vaccine Dose #1!
P.S. Sorry I’m late this week! Stay safe and dry, my friends!!
